Keep it simple.

Download the EXE and save it to a folder you control.
Open it to start your own board or library.
Use the system tray menu to reopen or exit the app.

The applications save automatically. Closing the window keeps the app available in the tray.

Taking your library with you?

Start VellumIndex with --portable to keep its data in a VellumIndex-data folder beside the EXE. Copy that folder with the app when moving to another computer.

Close a running VellumIndex session before changing storage modes. FolioArc uses its own Local AppData folder.
